How to play Lighthouses
In Lighthouses, you place lights to illuminate every empty square. Walls stop the light, and some tell you how many lighthouses sit right next to them.
The rules
- Place lighthouses until no square is left in the dark.
- A lighthouse lights up its row and its column as far as the first wall.
- Two lighthouses can't see each other: neither can stand where the other's light reaches.
- A wall's number says how many lighthouses sit right next to it on its four sides (above, below, left and right).
Where to start
Look at the numbered walls and count the empty squares touching each one above, below, left and right. If a wall needs as many lighthouses as it has empty squares next to it, you can place one in each. Remember that two lighthouses cannot light each other.
