In short
- Diverday is a puzzle app. You can play without an account.
- With a free account you can play with your people. You must be 18 to have one.
- Today Diverday sells nothing and shows no advertising from other companies.
- What you write —your name, or the name of a group or a party— is seen by other people, so it has to follow the community rules.
- You can delete your account whenever you want, from the app itself.
1. Who is behind Diverday
Diverday is made and offered by one person, not by a company:

Here, "we" means that person, and "you" means whoever uses Diverday.
2. What Diverday is
A logic puzzle app for your phone, with twenty games.
- Without an account you can play all of Free Play.
- With an account you also get your daily challenges, groups, one-to-one challenges and parties.
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using Diverday. The community rules are part of them. The store you download the app from also has its own conditions, and they apply too.
3. What it costs
Today Diverday costs nothing and sells nothing. All the games are free.
If one day we sell something in the app, it will have its own conditions, and we will show them to you before you pay.
The app shows screens about Premium, which is Diverday's own, for example before opening a board or when you ask for a hint. Premium is not on sale today. Today there is no advertising from other companies. If that changes, we will say so here and in the privacy policy before it happens.
Some limits —how many games, hints or challenges you can have each day— are set from our server, and they can change without you having to update the app.
4. Your account
- To create one you need a name and an email address. There is no password: to sign in, we send a link and a code to your email.
- You must be 18 or older. This is the age for the account, not for playing: to play without an account we do not ask your age. We explain why just below, under Ages.
- Your account is only yours. Do not use someone else's, and do not let anyone else use yours.
- Use an email address that is yours and that you check: it is the only way to sign in, and it is where we write to you if we need to tell you something about your account.
- You can delete it whenever you want: in the app, Account tab, Delete account. It happens at once and cannot be undone. What is deleted and what is not is explained on Delete your account.
Ages
To play without an account, we do not ask your age, your name or your email. You can play all of Free Play.
To create an account, and to give us any permission, you must be 18 or older. There are three permissions:
- counting how you use the app, on our server;
- sharing that same information with Google Analytics. We will only ask this once we turn it on; today nothing goes to Google Analytics;
- emailing you news and offers.
You can withdraw any of them whenever you want, in Account. That age is for the account and for the permissions. It is not an age for using the app.
Why 18. With an account, other people see what is yours: your name appears in your groups, in your parties and in the one-to-one challenges you send, and you can report others and be reported. And allowing us to use your data is a decision the law asks you to make at a sufficient age, which changes from one country to another: in the European Union, each country sets it somewhere between 13 and 16. With 18 it is one single age for everything, the same in every language, and we do not have to ask which country you are from.
We do not ask for your date of birth or your country. Only that you confirm you are 18 or older, with a tick box, when you create the account.
If you are under 18, play without an account as much as you like. When the app asks you for a permission, choose “No, thanks”. The app works just the same.
If you are a parent or guardian: Diverday does not knowingly ask anyone under 18 for their data. If you think your child has created an account or given us a permission, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
5. What you write
The only things you write in Diverday that other people see are names: yours, a group's and a party's.
- Your name is seen by the people in your groups and parties, and by anyone who receives a one-to-one challenge from you.
- The name of a group or a party also appears on the invitation page, which anyone with the link can open, and in the link preview when the link is shared, for example on WhatsApp.
What you write is still yours. You give us permission to store it and show it in those places, only so that Diverday works, and for as long as it stays in the app.
It has to follow the community rules.
6. What is not allowed
- Breaking the community rules.
- Using programs or tricks to play for you, to send times that are not yours, or to get into places you should not.
- Trying to get into someone else's account or into our servers.
- Sending false reports to bother someone.
- Creating another account to come back after we have closed yours.
- Copying, selling or modifying the app.
7. If someone breaks the rules
We can remove a name, close a group or a party, or close an account. A person makes that decision, not a machine. When we take a measure, we email the person affected with the reason, and we tell whoever reported it what we decided. How it works, how to report something and what you can do if you disagree are all in the community rules.
8. Changes
Diverday changes: we can add, change or remove games and features to improve it, to fix faults, or to adapt it to the law or to the stores' rules.
These terms can change for those same reasons, or because what Diverday offers changes. If the change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you do not agree, you can stop using Diverday and delete your account.
9. If something goes wrong
We do our best to make Diverday work well, but it can have faults or be unavailable for a while, and we cannot promise that nothing you keep in it will ever be lost.
We are not responsible for harm that does not depend on us. Nothing in this section limits what the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer.
10. Ending
You can stop using Diverday whenever you want and delete your account.
We can close an account that does not follow these terms or the community rules, as they explain.
If one day we stop offering Diverday, we will tell you beforehand in the app or by email.
11. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you use Diverday as a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim before the courts where you live.
Before it gets that far, write to us: almost everything can be sorted out by talking. We reply within fifteen days at most.
We are not signed up to any consumer arbitration scheme or to any other body that settles disputes outside the courts. If you use Diverday as a consumer, you can also complain to the consumer authorities where you live.
12. Languages
These terms are in English and in Spanish, and both versions say the same. If they ever differ, the Spanish version prevails.
Even so, if you use Diverday as a consumer and a sentence can be read in two ways, the reading that favours you more applies, as the law says.
