Legal notice
This page gives the details required by article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services, known in Spain as the “LSSI”: who is behind Diverday and how to get in touch. In Spain this page is called the “aviso legal”. It covers this website, diverday.com, and the Diverday app.
Who is behind Diverday
Diverday is not a company: one person runs it.

- Legal form: an individual acting in their own name, not a company. Spanish law calls this a “persona física”.

Messages are read by a person. You can write to us in English or in Spanish. We answer from Spain as soon as we can.
These two channels are also the point of contact required by the European Union’s Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, articles 11 and 12). They are for people who use Diverday and for the authorities of EU countries, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services. We answer in English and in Spanish.
To report a person or a group, the community rules explain how to do it and what happens next.
Registers, permits and codes
- The owner is an individual, not a company, so he is not entered in the Spanish commercial register (the “Registro Mercantil”). Nor is he entered, for this activity, in any other public register.
- Diverday does not need any prior permit from the authorities to operate.
- It is not a regulated profession.
- We have not signed up to any code of conduct.

Nothing is sold in Diverday today.

Who owns what
The texts, design, illustrations and code of Diverday were made for Diverday. Please do not copy them or use them elsewhere without asking us first.
The fonts and other material that is not ours have their own licences. They are listed below, under Credits, with who made them.
Credits
The app uses three typefaces: Rubik (Copyright 2015 The Rubik Project Authors), Nunito (Copyright 2014 The Nunito Project Authors) and Atkinson Hyperlegible (Copyright 2020 Braille Institute of America, Inc.). All three are used under the SIL Open Font License, version 1.1, a free licence that allows them to be used in apps as long as they go with their copyright notice and the text of the licence: text of the licence, and the licence of Rubik, Nunito and Atkinson Hyperlegible.
The background music was generated with artificial intelligence for Diverday. The sounds and the illustrations —the octopus, the reef creatures, the backgrounds, the logo, the icons, the avatars and the trophies— were generated with artificial intelligence, using Magnific, and then trimmed and adjusted for Diverday.
The app is built with Flutter (Copyright 2014 The Flutter Authors, 3-clause BSD licence) and with these open-source components, each with its own licence:
- 3-clause BSD licence: firebase_core, firebase_crashlytics, firebase_messaging, http, intl, path_provider, share_plus, shared_preferences and url_launcher.
- MIT licence: audioplayers, in_app_review and supabase_flutter.
- Apache 2.0 licence: clock.
Each of them brings in other components, also with their own licences. The page of each one shows who made it and the text of its licence.

If we link to another website, what is on it is decided by whoever runs it, not by us.
Law and courts
Which law applies, and before which courts you can bring a claim, is set out in the terms of use, which are the ones that count.
Languages
This page is in English and in Spanish, and both versions say the same. If they ever differ, the Spanish version prevails, as in the terms of use.
