How to play Eels
In Eels, the numbers on the edges count the filled squares in each row and column. Fill each eel starting at its head and continuing toward its tail.
The rules
- Fill the eels to match the totals.
- Start at the head and continue toward the tail without gaps.
- An eel can be completely empty or completely filled.
- Each number tells you how many filled squares belong in its row or column.
Where to start
A row or column with a 0 can be crossed out entirely. Then follow each eel: if one of its squares cannot be filled, none of the squares after it toward the tail can be filled either, because that would leave a gap.
