How to play Oysters
In Oysters, zones and pairs are two different things. Each zone contains two oysters, but the oysters in a pair may lie in different zones.
The rules
- Place oysters in pairs.
- Each oyster shares an edge with exactly one other oyster: its partner.
- Each zone must contain exactly 2 oysters; they may belong to different pairs.
- A pair may cross a thick line.
- Different pairs cannot touch along an edge; diagonal contact is allowed.
Where to start
If a zone has only two squares, both must hold oysters. Then check their neighbours: each oyster needs exactly one partner that shares an edge with it. Different pairs may touch diagonally.
