How to play Sudoku

· Leer en español

In Sudoku, each number you place must fit in its row, column and zone. A 9×9 board has nine 3×3 zones, separated by thicker lines.

The rules

  1. Fill every empty square with a number from 1 to 9.
  2. No number repeats in the same row, column or 3×3 zone.

Where to start

Look for a row, column or zone with only a few numbers left to fill. Find which numbers are missing, then check the other two: if only one number can go in a square, you can write it in.

In the app you can turn on Notes to mark possibilities before deciding. The numbers given at the start stay where they are.
